EMERGING WRITERS COMPETITION

Solo Collective's Emerging Writers reading packs them out at the Vancouver Playhouse.

Solo Collective holds an Annual Emerging Writers Competition (for the past two years in co-operation with the Playhouse Theatre Company). A call for submissions is sent out every January looking for new monologues written by emerging Canadian playwrights.

All applications receive written feedback from two of our professional judges, and the top five entries are selected to receive ongoing dramaturgical assistance and a staged reading at our annual Solo Flights showcase evening.

For more information, please contact info@solocollective.ca. To insure you are informed when applications are being submitted, join the Solo Collective mailing list at the top of this page.
