Solo Collective Theatre is an award-winning Vancouver company founded in 2000.
Our mission is to produce new Canadian plays examining the nature of contemporary relationships with an emphasis on the strange, humorous, and gently tragic moments in our interpersonal lives.
Our focus is on actor and text, with minimal design elements chosen to support the work. Solo Collective’s evenings of theatre are engaging, intimate and original.
Solo Collective is committed to supporting and promoting visible minorities and cultural diversity. Some of our previous shows have shown commitment to this value including such shows as “The Project”, “Play With Monsters”, and “True Believers”. We also welcome any new scripts that reflect cultural diversity.
