Carol has worked (and played) in the “biz” since her teens, starting out in community theatre at the Powerhouse in Vernon. She has acted, stage managed and directed all over Canada, working primarily in live theatre. In 1988 she became the production manager at Studio 58 where she coached student stage managers for 25 years. Recently “retired”, Carol was honoured with the establishment of a scholarship in her name to be awarded to a student who “expresses a passion for the art of theatre and demonstrates a joy in the work”. Now freelancing again, she has just collaborated on a production of Three Sisters which featured many instructors and graduates of Studio 58. Carol is delighted to serve on the board of Solo Collective, and is looking forward to taking part in its exciting offerings.
